Man (23) accused of supplying Class B drugs granted bail

A man accused of supplying mephedrone and cannabis has been released on bail.

Brian Thomas Boyle, whose address was given on court papers as Lisnavar Court, is charged with possessing class B drugs with intent to supply, simple possession and being concerned in the supply of drugs between August and September last year.

The 23-year-old is further charged with possessing criminal property.

Police had opposed bail for fear of further offences and because Boyle had shown ‘total disregard’ for previous bail conditions.

Deputy District Judge Chris Holmes released the 23-year-old on his own bail of £100 to reside at an address in the Waterside. Boyle will appear in court again on March 13.
