Man denies affray in Derry city centre
A 22-year-old man has denied fighting and making an affray in Derry city centre.
Dane Barry McKeever, of Fahan Street, pleaded not guilty to one charge relating to an alleged incident on September 24, 2017.
Derry Crown Court heard that the trial is likely to last a week.
An application was made to adjourn the case to allow the prosecution and the defence to consider which witnesses’ evidence can be agreed.
The case will be mentioned again on November 4, when a trial date is expected to be fixed.
McKeever was released on continuing bail to appear in court again at a later date.
