Man denies Credit Union fraud charges

A 30-year-old man has denied a series of fraud charges relating to loans from Derry Credit Union.

Keith Deehan, of Jacqueline Way, pleaded not guilty to a total of 21 charges allegedly committed between July 2004 and August 2012.

They include fraud by false declaration, obtaining a money transfer by deception and acquiring criminal property, namely £60,814 from Derry Credit Union.

Deehan was released on continuing bail and will appear in court again on September 9.
