Man pleads guilty to drugs offences at Derry Crown Court

A 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to a series of drugs offences at Derry crown Court.

David McIntyre of Northland Road appeared at the Court on Tuesday to face three counts of offering to supply cannabis on three different dates in October, 2012.

He also faced a charge that in December, 2012 he was found to be in possession of a Class C controlled drug, namely diazepam.

A fourth charge was that, also in December 2012, he was found to be in possession of a Class A substance, namely Methylenedioxymethanmphetamine, more commonly known as MDMA or ecstasy.

When each of the charges were put to McIntyre he pleaded guilty to each of them in succession.

The defendant was told to return to Derry Crown Court on April 18 next for sentencing pending a pre-sentence report.
