Man released over Real IRA shooting

A 35-year-old man arrested in Derry in connection with last Wednesday night’s shooting on the Glen Road has been released.

Police say the man, who was arrested yesterday morning (March 7) in the Creggan area of Derry ahas been released unconditionally.

A 31-year-old man arrested on Saturday in connection to the shooting was also released unconditionally.

The Real IRA claimed responsibility for the attack in which several shots were fired at a PSNI patrol.
