Man robbed at knifepoint in Derry

Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information about a street robbery in Derry.

Police say a man was robbed at knifepoint in an alleyway adjacent to Limewood Street at approximately 7.10pm yesterday evening (Tuesday). It’s believed a small sum of cash was stolen in the robbery.

A police spokesperson said two male attackers were involved. One is described as wearing a blue light blue hooded top and the other a navy body warmer top and blue jeans. Both appeared to have dark stubble.

The attackers made off towards Beechwood Street along a rear alleyway.
