Probe after Creggan break-in attempt


Police at Strand Road in Derry are appealing for information about an attempt to break into a house at Melmore Gardens in Creggan.

The incident happened sometime between the residents going out on Saturday evening and their return on Sunday evening.

The investigating officer said an attempt to force open a kitchen window resulted in the double-glazed unit being damaged.
