The PSNI in Derry have said they made five arrests in the early hours of Monday morning, October 12, following a disturbance close to a licensed premises.

The incident took place at Market Street in Derry city centre shortly before 1am.

Three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of disorderly behaviour and one man was arrested for disorderly behaviour, common assault and possessing an offensive weapon. All were later bailed to dates in November.
