PSNI probe Derry vehicle fire

Police are investigating the cause of a fire in a vehicle on the Skeoge Road in Derry.

Shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday November 6 it was reported that a Landrover Discovery parked close to the Glenabbey Roundabout was on fire. Police and NIFRS attended and the fire was extinguished. The vehicle was extensively damaged as a result of the fire.

Inspector Mark Catterson appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact Police at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
