A Limavady man accused of robbery has been granted bail.

Jason Thomas Cooke, of no fixed abode, is charged with the robbery of a Spar shop in the town on August 22.

The 21-year-old was released on his own bail of £500 to reside at an address in Portstewart and abide by a curfew.

He is banned from entering Limavady and banned from having any contact with the alleged injured party or witnesses.

Cooke will appear in court again on November 19.
