A teenage boy is to stand trial at Derry Crown Court accused of sexual assault.
The 16-year-old is further charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and making a threat to kill.
He is also accused of committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence.
The charges relate to an alleged incident on March 18, last year.
The defendant cannot be named because of his age.
During a brief hearing at the city’s youth court, the teen declined to say anything in answer to the charges or to call any evidence on his own behalf.
Defence solicitor Hayley Gallagher accepted there is a case for her client to answer.
The teen was released on his own bail of £500 to appear at the crown court for arraignment next month.
