Sheep stolen

Thieves have stolen a number of sheep from a farm on the outskirts of Derry.

Police say eleven ewes and a number of lambs were taken from a field on the Tamnaherin Road near Eglinton sometime between March 6 and 8.

It is estimated the value of the stolen livestock is around £2000.

Anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the livestock is asked to contact police in Derry on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed on anonymously through the ‘Crimestoppers’ charity on freephone 0800 555 111.
