A Post Morten examination on the body of a man discovered in the river at Carrowreagh at Bridgend on the Derry-Donegal border on Sunday, November 9, has concluded that his death was not suspicious.
The body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital for examination on Sunday.
The area where the remains were located was close to where a 4 X 4 vehicle belonging to Derry man, Stephen McCloskey was discovered last week. 33-year-old Mr McCloskey had been missing since October 27.
Police in Donegal this afternoon told the Journal: “The Post Mortem is complete and Gardai are not treating the death as suspicious.”
