Woman complained about food, demanded her money back, then racially abused shop worker

Police are hunting a woman who racially abused a worker in a restaurant after complaining about the food there.

Constable McWilliams, the investigating officer, explained that at about 3.30am on Saturday, 5th, a woman ordered food in premises at Waterloo Street.

After consuming most of the food, she complained about the quality and demanded her money back. When this was refused, she threw the food at an assistant and racially abused him.

She is described as being about 5ft in height and of a slim build. She had dark hair and was wearing a black dress. She spoke with a local accent.
