Women dragged into laneway and indecently assaulted

Police are appealing for information following a report of indecent assault in a laneway off Roemill Road area of Limavady.

A PSNI spokeswoman says shortly after 5pm on Tuesday (April 17) it is alleged that two men pulled a female into a laneway and assaulted her.

“The female managed to get away. Two men aged 26 and 57 were later arrested, questioned and released on bail pending further enquiries,” she says.

Police would ask anyone who was in the Roemill Road area of Limavady between 5pm and 5.45pm on April 17 or anyone who has any information to contact them at Limavady Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
