Cystic Fibrosis fundraising quiz


There will be a fundraising quiz in aid of Cystic Fibrosis in McGuinness’s Bar tonight commencing at 10pm sharp. All support for this worthy cause appreciated.

There will be a Ceili in Bocan Hall on Friday 22nd May with dancing from 9pm – 12. Music will be by Martin Duggan and all proceeds are for Gleneely School.

An Old Tyme dance in aid of the Galway Cancer Bus and Parish Funds will be held in Bocan Hall on Sunday 31st May 2015. Culdaff FC Silver Circle April winners - €250, Isabel O’Brien, Buncrana; €150 Brendan O’Connor Culdaff; €100 Martin Conlon, Culdaff

€50 each – Michael Lafferty, Mary E Ruddy, Derek Doherty, Brian McCallion and Adrian McDaid. The next draw is on 31st May.

A most enjoyable fund raising quiz held recently in the Bonner Inn Culdaff Arms raised €255 for St Bodens NS. Huge thanks to all who supported the event, quizmaster John McFeely, Brian for his generous donation and the use of the premises.

St. Boden’s N.S are hosting a Coffee Morning In Bocan Hall on Sunday 31st May (after 11am Mass). All proceeds in aid of school funds. Gleneely Colts are holding a Grand Variety Concert in Bocan Hall on Friday 29th May commencing at 8pm. All welcome

Mc Guinness’s Bar Golf Society had a successful outing to Stranrlar & Ballybofey Golf Club last week with Darragh McLaughlin winning with 35 points. Stephen McLaughlin was second on 33 and Don Ruddy was third on 32. Longest drive was won by David McLaughlin while Eddie McIntyre won the nearest the pin. The front nine was claimed by Michael McLaughlin on 17 points while the back nine was won on the break of a tie by Eddie McIntyre on 16 points. The next outing is on the June bank holiday weekend.

Culdaff FC, Glengad United and Sea Rovers are holding a Fun raising Quiz in the Malin Hotel on Friday 22nd May at 9.30pm

with all proceeds in aid of the Mark Farren Appeal. All support would be greatly appreciated.
