Dawn Chorus event at Creggan Country Park

Creggan Country Park will host a special Dawn Chorus event this Saturday 7th May from 5am-7am.

Explore the county park’s one hundred acre site with a local bird expert taking in the sights and sounds along the way. Afterwards, relax and enjoy tea/coffee and a breakfast bap in the Lakeview café on site.

Inviting people to come along and get involved, Karen Healy, Environmental Officer at Creggan Country Park said: “The Dawn Chorus event is a fantastic way for people of all ages to get up close to nature, meet new people and enjoy walking in the great outdoors. We have over 40 bird species on our one hundred acre site so there will be plenty to see and hear on the day.”
