Daylight robbery in Derry

Police in Derry are appealing for information about two burglaries in the Altnagelvin area of the city which occurred during the day.

Money and jewellery were stolen from two houses at Knockwellan Park on Tuesday morning.

Both incidents are thought to have taken place during daylight hours between 8.45am and 4.30pm.

Detective Constable Mullan, the investigating officer, said police were keen to hear from anyone who noticed strangers or suspicious activity in the area.
