The Alzheimer’s Society is to hold a four week Carer Information Programme - beginning this week- to help people who are caring for someone with dementia.
The first session will take place tomorrow night from 7-9pm at the City Hotel and will provide an overview of Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Week two, on November 28, will cover the issues of benefits, financial advice and power of attorney.
On December 5 (week three) the programme will look at challenging behaviours and medication and on December 12 (week four) the programme will look at advocacy and dietary advice.
