Derry holidays over but fancy buying a house in Bundoran or Finn McCool's or Maggies' bars in Ballyshannon?

The Derry holidays may be over but an auction in Dublin in two weeks may offer food-for-thought for some investors with two Ballyshannon pubs and a house in Bundoran among the lots under the hammer for between 45,000 and 100,000 euros.

The properties are among a range of lots being auctioned off in the RDS by Allsop on September 13.

Maggies’ Bar in West Port, Ballyshannon, will be offered on a reserve range of between 75,000 and 85,000 euros.

Another pub in the town, Finn McCool’s, which is billed as a rental investment currently bringing in an annual rent of 15,600 euros, will go under the hammer with a reserve range of between 90,000 and 100,000 euros.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at Seacrest, Bundoran, off the West End Road just outside the town, is starting off between 45,000 and 55,000 euros.

And a ground floor two bedroom apartment at Brú Na Mara in Donegal Town has a reserve range of 55,000 to 65,000 euros.

Bidding opens at 8am on Tuesday, September 13, lot one will close at 10am with each lot closing two minutes thereafter.

The highest bidder (providing the reserve price has been met) will have secured a binding contract for their new purchase.
