Donation drive at Computershare's Derry office helps women '˜Dress for Success'

Computershare staff have donated a full rack of clothing to a charity that helps women find employment.

Dress for Success provides women in Derry and across the world with job application advice, career mentoring and workwear for interview.

Since International Women’s Day employees at Computershare’s Derry office have contributed more than 71 items of clothing to support their work.

Sinéad McGowan Team Leader at Computershare and one of the drive’s organisers, said: “This is the first year we have been involved in the clothing drive for Dress for Success, and it has been a great experience.

“The charity does really important work locally and around the globe, and all of us at Computershare in Derry are really pleased to help those in our local community who need an outfit.

“What a great way for us all to honour International Women’s Day.”

In total the collection included 28 tops, 11 dresses, seven suits, six pairs of shoes, four pairs of trousers, four scarves, three skirts, three blazers, two coats, two handbags and a belt.
