The Journal has been inundated with messages of sympathy and support for the parents of little Sofia Parke who passed away on Sunday.
Sofia, who was just two, slipped away in Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where she had been transferred after falling ill.

Born with only half of her heart developed, the brave toddler had fought illness all of her short life.
More than £2,500 has now been raised by family and friends to help with the family’s funeral costs. Football star James McClean donated £500 to the fund.
Last night and today the Journal facebook has been flooded with messages for the family.
