Five North West schools are to get new buildings it has been announced.
Foyle College, Ebrington Primary School, Eglinton Primary School and Belmont House Special School in Derry and Rossmar Special School in Limavady have been given the go ahead for new builds this morning by the North’s Education Minister John O’Dowd.
The proposed Foyle College/Ebrington PS co-location project at Clooney is to get around £25million.
Belmont’s new build plans are to get funding of £7.4million while Rossmar has been allocated £6.4million. Eglinton Primary School gets £2.5million
“This will be good news for the pupils and communities directly affected. A world-class educational environment will help us deliver the improvements in educational outcomes we are working so hard to achieve,” the Minister said.
