Get on the track to your dream job - North West Regional College is hosting enrolment sessions for courses starting this year.

North West Regional College will be hosting a late enrolment session for full and part time courses at their campuses in Derry~Londonderry, Strabane and Limavady on Thursday, September 13, from 5-7 p.m.

These sessions are for those who have not yet enrolled.

Come along and talk to our career advisors who can give you advice and guidance and talk you through all of the options available.

Local learners can follow in the footsteps of NWRC Performing Arts graduate Jamie Lee O’Donnell, who recently found fame on the Channel 4 Comedy Derry Girls, Civil Engineering graduate Declan Doherty who is project managing a major new build at Altnagelvin Hospital, and Ciaran Logue who is planning to take the Bar exam, after graduating from a Law Degree after completing the Adult Learning Access course at NWRC.

The success of the NWRC graduates illustrates how A Levels are not the only route into Higher Education and Employment. The college’s campuses offer a range of BTEC Level 3 extended diplomas, the exact equivalent of 3 A-Levels, allowing young people in the North West to specialise in their chosen career path from the age of 16.

Hundreds of students across the North West have been enrolling on Further and Higher Education courses at North West Regional College after attending Clearing Days at Derry~Londonderry, Limavady and Strabane.

The three Clearing Days have been a busy time for the college, however there is still time to apply, with limited places available on some full-time and part time courses.

Many former students of the college have gone on to work in top jobs in Business, Computing, Sport, Accounting, Construction, the Arts, Sport, Health, Hairdressing, Crafts, Engineering, and Early Years.

At each of the five campuses, NWRC has a team of career advisors to give you advice and guidance and talk you through all of the options available.

The Strand Road and Limavady Receptions will be open late every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until October 25, so if you can’t call in during the day, you can go along in the evening and have a chat.

Further and Higher Education courses at NWRC are career and job focussed, directly relating to the requirements of industry.

Working directly with industry and employers, NWRC know exactly where the skill shortages are and we work to deliver courses giving our students a direct route into employment.

The college also offers a full range of fully accredited part time courses affording local people the opportunity to upskill and continue their professional development.

NWRC is not just a place to learn, as a student you can be part of a fun, diverse and supportive learning experience.
