Like a good read? Well there’s a golden opportunity coming up in the next few days.
Book lovers can snap up plenty of bargains at the “humongous” sale at Dungiven library next week.
The two day book sale featuring a wide variety of stock takes place on Monday, 26th September, from 10am-4pm, and Tuesday. 27th September, from 10am-3pm.
Dungiven library branch manager Bernadette McCloskey says thousands of books will be on sale on the upper floor, many for as little as 50p.
“There will be a varied selection of Libraries NI stock from across all libraries for sale, including adult and junior fiction and adult and junior non-fiction.
“People can snatch up a bargain and, I’m not talking pounds, I’m talking pence and they are in generally good condition!” she said. “The reason for the sale is to freshen up library shelves and fund new stock.”
Those attending the book sale can also take the opportunity to become a library member, added Mrs McCloskey
“People can perhaps use the sale to buy gifts, for example for birthdays or Christmas with books for as little as 50p, or maybe even less and of course, we can supply you with a box or a bag for the books you buy!”
