The full line-up for Derry’s electronic music festival, Celtronic, has been revealed.
This will be the 15th edition of the acclaimed festival which has been described as ‘Ireland’s answer to Sonar’ and regularly attracts thousands of music fans to the city.
The festival will run from Wednesday June 24 through to Sunday June 28 and kicks off at The Guildhall on June 24 with Mano Le Tough and The Drifters.
The following night sees the festival move to The Glassworks for a live performance from top rated Recondite, with support from Fort Romeau.
On Friday June 26, The Nerve Centre will see Swiss DJ Ripperton making his Derry debut alongside popular live show icon Henrik Schwarz. The following night, St Columb’s Hall will host Derry’s biggest ever line-up of electronic music talent. Legendary Detroit techno innovator Derrick May leads a line-up that also features Warp Records’ Clark. Francesco Tristano, Objekt and The Cyclist.
Celtronic 2015 will come to a close with a daytime/ night-time event at The Craft Village and The Glassworks with German house maestro Move D and Space Dimension Controller.
Local and national acts performing include Confute, Go Wolf, Documenta, Strength, Vincent and Shammen Delly, and from resident DJs at clubnights The Queen & Disco, Jika Jika, Bekuz, Underlying Form, Ntwrk, Noise and Deep Fried Funk.
