A power cut which had initially affected 1,100 homes and business premises in the Pennyburn district of Derry this morning has been resolved.
The electricity supply had been cut, due to an underground fault at around 10.30am this morning. However, the supply was quickly restored to 700 affected premises within a short period after the fault.
A spokesperson for Northern Ireland Electricity has just confirmed that the supply has been restored to all those affected in the last few minutes. The spokesperson also said the cause of the outage has not yet been confirmed.
