March indeed looks set to go out more like a lion than a lamb with a biting wind and winter showers pelting down in the city today.
Temperatures have plummeted to the low single figures with real feel hovering around 0 Celsius. The winter woolies will also be needed tonight as it is to stay cold through until late on Saturday before we get back up to double digits on Sunday evening.

Hide AdOn the plus side temperatures will rise to 13 degrees in the north west by Monday, so the gloves, hats and scarves can all come off again.
And don’t forget the clocks go forward this weekend at 1am on Sunday so at least we will have brighter nights to look forward too.
