Euro 2016: NI fans could score in bedroom if the defeat Wales

Malnourished lovers across the North will be hoping a Northern Ireland win against Wales at the weekend will help to satisfy their sexual appetite.

LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor quizzed more than 2000 men over the age of 18 and the finding will leave some fans of the ‘Green and White Army’ blushing.

The survey was carried out by One Poll on behalf of LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor earlier this month.

Ninety per cent of Northern Ireland fans believe that they will see a considerable improvement in the bedroom as a result of a Northern Irish win against the Welsh on Sunday.

If that wasn’t enough to get you in the mood then read on; 43 per cent of fans admitted that they have spent more time watching O’Neill’s team than with their partner during the Euros and over one third of those surveyed would be willing to give up sex or alcohol, if it meant a Northern Ireland win

Sixty per cent of those questioned are planning on exceeding the recommended daily limit of alcohol during the game on Saturday.

To help men better forecast their expected libido during the Euros; the Online Doctor has launched a Euro Sex Formulator, which allows men to compare their expected bedroom performance against the other home nations.

When it comes to the championship itself, 80 per cent admit that their libido will decline if Northern Ireland lose in the knockout round, with 43 per cent of men admitting to having used a major football championship as an excuse to avoid scoring in the bedroom. Northern Ireland’s failure to secure automatic qualification will also see a poor result for fans in the bedroom, as nearly eight per cent of men will avoid any kind of sexual activity with their partner if a Euro match doesn’t go their way.

Equally, Brewer’s Droop – the inability to get an erection due to excess alcohol intake – could also be an issue with almost 60 per cent of those questioned planning on exceeding the recommended daily limit of alcohol during tonight’s qualifier. With nearly a quarter of men admitting to having experienced erectile dysfunction and worrying about it regularly, it seems that women may have to be patient this summer.
