Fantastic turn out for New Year’s Day Swim

The annual New Year’s Day Swim held yesterday at Caratra Beach attracted a fantastic crowd and all proceeds this year are for the Donegal Hospice in memory of Mary Margaret O’Connor. After their icy dip the festive swimmers enjoyed soup in McGrory’s followd by music with Dominic.

Gleneely National School is opening a charity shop at G & S Supermarket from the 19th January and all proceeds to go to the new classroom build. Donations can be given in now and stored until the shop opens. Please contact the school to arrange drop off.

Two hand dancing classes in the Wee Hall Culdaff every Thursday night at 8pm. Ceili classes continue in the Wee hall Culdaff every Wednesday night from 9pm – 11pm. Irish Dancing classes continue every Monday in Bocan Hall from 5pm to 7pm. Gleneely Colts Lotto - Numbers drawn on 21st December were 1-14-19-23 and there was no jackpot winner.
