The Gasyard Trust, in collaboration with the Peacewalls Project, is currently delivering a major new tourism and heritage project focussed on the TRIAX area.
The project will be delivering a number of outputs including a new book on the history of Bishop Street/Fountain, new signage in the Bishop Street/Fountain area, a tourist map of the TRIAX area and a new app and website promoting all tourism related businesses in the TRIAX area.
“This is a great opportunity for aspiring business men and women and existing businesses in the TRIAX area to avail of free workshops.
“The workshops are excellent and will provide people with invaluable free advice,” said Mickey Cooper from Gasyard Trust.
The first workshop is a Self-Employment Awareness Workshop and it is aimed at people in the TRIAX area hoping to start a business in the future.
The next workshop is a Partnership Building and Business Support Awareness Workshop and is aimed at existing and new businesses.
The third and final free workshop focuses on business promotion tools and opportunities for new and existing businesses.
The TRIAX area includes the Bishop Street, Fountain (inc Carlisle Road), Bogside/Brandywell (inc William St/Waterloo St) and Creggan areas of the city.
Admission is totally free of charge to all the events.
