The National Trust has teamed up with Creggan Country Park to deliver a day of fun packed outdoor activities on Thursday 30th July.
Under expert supervision kids can try their hand at paddling in Canadian open canoes, orienteering, pond dipping, animal tracking, bug hunting, raft building and so much more.
The event is part of the National Trust’s “50 Things to do before you’re 11 ¾” initiative, which is basically a “bucket list” of fun outdoor activities for kids and families to complete with the aim of helping to reconnect them with nature.
The conservation charity has already delivered a number of successful “50 Things” events throughout the city which have been very well received and strongly supported. The event is FREE to attend and takes place from 12:30 to 4pm on Thursday 30th July at Creggan Country Park.
Every child also receives FREE 50 things Challenge Booklet to help join in with our activities on the day and with plenty of other tasks to keep you busy the summer through.
