Strathfoyle Library is holding a free Horticultural Therapy workshop, led by horticultural therapist Liz Hanvey of Blossoms at Larne Lough. on Thursday 21 January from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
The workshop is a wonderful opportunity to join with others to look at ways gardening and working with nature can help people cope with the stresses of life.
Life has a habit of causing us feelings of anxiety, depression and stress and this one hour interactive workshop will show how working closely with plants and horticulture is one of the best ways to soothe your mind and offer much needed mental rest.
This workshop is one of many planned as part of Health in Mind, funded under the Big Lottery Fund’s Live and Learn programme.
