This week’s ‘Friday’s Child’ is new Derry City manager, Kenny Shiels, who takes charge of his first game tonight in Ballybofey as the “Candy Stripes” open the 1016 season against near neighbours, Finn Harps.
The Magherafelt native is highly regarded for his success in coaching young players through to senior level. However, having managed in the Irish League, he has also plied his trade in the SPL when holding the reigns at Kilmarnock.
