The ordination of three young Donegal men took place in the Church of St. Pius X, Moville, on Sunday.

They will all minister in the Derry diocese.

They are Rev. Con McLaughlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius McLaughlin, Balleighin, Greencastle; Rev. Declan Boland, son of Mrs. Mollie Boland, Malin Road, Moville; and Rev. Patrick O’Kane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic O’Kane, Culdaff.

Dr. Farren was given a very enthusiastic welcome when he arrived in Moville for the ceremony.

The main street of the town was gaily decorated with bunting and banners.

The townspeople, under the direction of the local St. Vincent De Paul Society, were responsible for the decorations.

Rev. H.B. O’Neill, Adm., St. Eugene’s, and Rev. J. Clerkin, C.C., do., assisted Dr. Farren. Fr. O’Neill was also master of ceremonies.
