The Saturday Walk and Talk outing will be held on July 25. The destination is the Old Railway Walk Burtonport. This section of reclaimed railway track has been developed into a beautiful walkway which is growing in popularity. Bus leaving 9 am from St Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre. The July Whist drive will take place on Monday, July 27 at 8 pm in the Centre. €5 per person. A light supper will be provided. New members will be made very welcome.
St Johnston and Carrigans Bowling Club meet every Monday and Friday and Friday night in the Resource Centre from 7.30 to 10.30pm for practice and matches. Open to new membership everyone is welcome.
Pilates is held in the Resource Centre on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm. Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It reshapes and tones your body. It is a great way to relieve unwanted stress and tension.

Activity Camp: St Johnston Presbyterian Church is holding a fun activity camp this summer. It will be a week of fun and games for everyone. It is designed to introduce children to new activities and increase their participation in sport. Children are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. The activity camp will be held from Tuesday 4 - Friday 7 August. Age group is 6 to 13 years. Times are from 10 am to 2 pm. Please bring a packed lunch. Cost is €30 per child and €25 euro for subsequent children. Please look at the posters locally for further information.
The Fourth Annual Binnion Mass Rock Walk departs Maggie’s Tavern, Carrickmore, on Sunday 26 July at 3 pm. The registration fee is €5 followed by BBQ and music at Maggie’s. Proceeds are in aid of Ballyduff Community Group Home, Lifford. The walk is approximately 4k. All are welcome.
Carrickmore Charity Cycle will take place from Maggie’s Tavern on July 25. Registration will be held from 1.30pm. €20 per person or for a sponsorship card. Proceeds are in aid of Donegal Diabetes Association. Food will be served after the cycle.
The Men on the Move group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-8 pm at the Centre. It offers participants a light to moderate exercise programme which includes walking, spinning, boxercise, circuits and much more. Please ring Russell for details on 087 618 5709.
