The Derry-based North West Migrants Forum have said they are delighted after securing grant funding of £500,000.
The Big Lottery Fund grant aid will be rolled out over the next five years.
The North West Migrants Forum was set up to help migrants and refugees arriving and settling in Derry.
Speaking about the award, Lillian Seenoi, projects director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive such a boost from the National Lottery to continue providing critical services for minority ethnic communities in the North West at a time when community organisations are facing financial difficulties.
“It is recognition of the good work that we do and the commitment of the Big Lottery to support programmes that put people and communities in the lead.”
