Carndonagh GAA club is hosting a Fun Climb of Sliabh Sneacht on Sunday 28th June with free buses leaving our clubhouse at Foden at 1pm. This will be a great day out for all the family and we encourage you to come along and experience the fantastic views that are available and refreshments and entertainment will be provided at our clubhouse after the climb. Donegal Civil Defence will be in attendance.

The 6th Colgan Heritage Weekend will take place from Thursday 25th June to Sunday 28th June in the Colgan Hall, Carndonagh. Programme of Events will include the unveiling of the new public art piece in the grounds of the Hall, talk by Eamon O’Cuiv, talk and presentation by Richard Curran, Biddy McLaughlin and Pat Doherty (Famine Village). Guided walk on Sunday at 11am with Dessie McCallion. Launch of the Colgan Centenary Magazine, exhibitions by local volunteer groups hosted by Maura Harkin. Exhibition by Philip McFadden. A night of Timeless Craic on Saturday 27th June in the Colgan Hall from 8.30pm-12. Admission €10 inc supper. A Coffee morning will be hosted by Carndonagh Boxing Club at its good as new at Gaelic Park on Thursday 25th 11am-2pm. We are working hard to get the new clud house open for September so call and enjoy a cuppa before the schools close for the Summer.The Good as New will remain open for another couple of weeks.
Carndonagh Community School bookshop will open for first year and second year students today from 9.30am-1pm and 2-4pm and tomorrow from June 9.30am-1pm.
