Gleneely Development Association is holding a table quiz tonight at 9.30pm in the Orchard Bar and all welcome. Also the GDA are holding a clean up in the village on Saturday, 30th May at 10.30am. Volunteers are asked to assemble at the club house and gloves, pickers and bags will be provided.
Culdaff FC, Glengad United and Sea Rovers are holding a Fun raising Quiz in the Malin Hotel tonight at 9.30pm with all proceeds in aid of the Mark Farren Appeal. All support would be greatly appreciated.
An Old Tyme Dance in aid of the Galway Cancer Bus and Parish Funds will be held in Bocan Hall Culdaff on Sunday 31st May. Music is by Tory Sound (Martin Doogan & John Cannon) with dancing from 9-12pm. Admission including supper is €5.
There will be a Ceili in Bocan Hall tonight in aid of Gleneely School with dancing from 9pm–12. Music by Martin Duggan.
A “Songs n’ Soccer” fund raising table quiz for Cancer Research will take place in the Arch Inn Carndonagh next Friday 29th May at 9.30 sharp. All the proceeds go to Manchester Children’s Hospital where 2 year old Aoife Wood has been having treatment. Aoife is the grand daughter of Denis Mc Laughlin (Manny) Trenatubber Culdaff. Denis and a friend are walking from Hadrian’s Wall in Northern England to help raise funds for this cause. The theme of the quiz is music and football questions and picture rounds from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and noughties. There will also be a raffle on the night. Quiz starts at 9.30 and all support would be appreciated.
