Gospel choir needs male voices

Moville Gospel Choir would like to invite male voices from around the community to join them. Practice every Tuesday night at 7.30pm in St Pius X.

Taobh na Cille Residents’ Group will host a Music and Dance Night on Wednesday, 18 April from 8.30pm to 11pm to the music of Melody Macs. Admission is 3 euro which includes a supper! Everyone welcome!

Moville Tidy Town Group would welcome more able bodied men and women, with own spades if possible, to continue the clean up along the main roads. The group meets every Saturday at 10am. Gloves, bags and hi vis vests etc are provided. In the interests of safety as this clean up is along the main road no children are asked to help. Call 0861520513.

Greencastle Community Centre are running the following courses:Pilates on Tuesdays, Yoga, Tai Chi and Sign Language Level 2 all on Wednesdays. Names are being taken for the following classes:Sign Language Level 1, Conversational Irish, Spanish and French, Office Management, Money Management, Get Inishowen Online Computer Course, Bridge and Zumba for both Adults and Kids.

Greencastle Community Centre is looking for small good quality second hand circuit training equipment i.e. Skipping rope, yoga ball, yoga mats, light dumbells and stepper. If you have any of these items or any other items that you think would be good to use for circuit training laying about your house and you don’t use them, we would be grateful if you would donate them to the community centre.

Fun Fitness classes are ongoing on Monday (Quigley’s Point Community Centre) and Wednesday (Quigley’s Point FC in Muff). New starts are always welcome and classes are adjusted to suit all ages 16-80, and abilities. Aerobics are at 6.30pm and Circuits at 7.30pm. A new 6 week Quality of Life Programme will be starting in the Day Centre, Moville on Thursday, April 19th at 11am. This free programme is being provided by the HSE and is aimed at anyone who has a longterm chronic condition such as diabetes, lung disease, cardiovascular, asthma, MS etc. If you have any of these or other longterm conditions this programme will support you and help you mnaage your life not just your condition. It will help you make choices in areas such as managing your medication, participation in exercising and developing your confidence in social situation. It will also help you deal with pain and tiredness, cope with feelings of depression, healthy eating and relaxation and exercise, communication and planning for the future. This course is open to all and each session lasts 2 and a half hours. Why not come and try it and see if it will benefit you.
