A film examining the evolution of graffiti culture in Derry is to be screened during the ‘Imagine! Belfast Festival of Ideas and Politics’ next week.
‘Together in Pieces’, which was produced by Derry documentary makers Eileen Walsh and David Dryden working as Foxwall Films, will be screened on Saturday, March 25, at 8pm in the Sunflower Bar in Union Street.
It’s the latest excursion for the film, which was last year screened across the Atlantic at both the Capital Irish Film Festival in Washington DC in March and the Harlem Hip Hop Film Festival in August.
“This inspirational film documents the graffiti revolution that is quietly transforming the political landscape of Northern Ireland, home to the oldest tradition of mural painting in the world,” said organisers..
