This Sunday Moville Family Resource Centre are hosting a fun filled Halloween Open Day featuring a cookery demonstration from a popular local chef.
On Sunday everyone is invited to join the resource centre staff and community chef Brian McDermott for a family fun day with activities for all the family.
The Open Day will be an opportunity for the Resource Centre and its volunteers to showcase the positive work of the centre that includes numerous projects, programs and services offered by the centre.
The fun kicks off at Scoil Eoghain at 1pm and Burt Chef Brian McDermott will be giving a Halloween themed cookery demonstration at 3pm.
“So come along a have a cup of tea and meet the staff, committee, facilitators, volunteers and participants of the centre. Having just completed the move to Main Street in Moville the Resource Centre have seen a increase in visitors leading to a demand in specific community services which the centre facilitates and supports,” said Mary McKinney, co-ordinator of MRC. “The Open day is a relaxed day letting you tell us what you want from the centre.”
Official FAI Coach will be on hand to offer advice and support and you will have the chance to try a penalty in the inflatable goals.
“There will be music, dance and face painting and lots of other family activities so come along and join us for a Halloween celebration.”
