Homes in Gartan Square attacked with muck bombs by gang of youths
Residents told the ‘Journal’ a group of young people targeted several homes with muck bombs in Gartan Square and Elmwood Terrace.
“To many people this might not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things but if you came out to see 20-30 muck bombs plastered all over the back of your home you might think differently,” said one resident.

Sinn Fein Councillor, Colly Kelly, condemned those behind the attacks.
“There is a lot of great work being carried out in the Bogside and Brandywell on a daily basis by Council, Dove House, Gasyard Centre, Pilot’s Row and various youth groups,” said Colr. Kelly.
“This type of incident cannot and should not be allowed to undermine all that.”
