The Millennium Forum has announced the return of two talented local performers ahead of the launch of its brand new events brochure.
Portstewart comedian, Jimeoin, will return to the Derry venue on Saturday, 15th October whilst Dungiven songstress, Cara Dillon, performs on Friday, 11th November. Tickets for both events will go on sale from the Millennium Forum Box Office today. Telephone 71 264455 or visit www.millenniumforum.co.uk for bookings.
Jimeoin, internationally hailed as one of live comedy’s masters, presents his stunning new show, Lovely. No gimmicks, purely and simply just great craic. As seen on ITV’s Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks and BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, he promises a hilarious show of world-class stand-up.
Cara Dillon’s rare talent, gentle charm and natural personality combine with a mesmerising gift to relate a great story through song and have helped establish her as one of the world’s leading exponents of traditional Irish music. Her success has led to numerous awards and some truly remarkable achievements including a BBC Folk Award last year in the ‘Best Album’ category.
Join Cara and her outstanding band for an evening featuring some of her most popular songs including ‘There Were Roses’, ‘Black Is The Colour’ and ‘The Parting Glass’ and proudly celebrate one of our local heroes.
