Life size bronze statue of deer and calf stolen

An “almost life size” bronze statue of a deer and calf have been stolen from a house near Dungiven.

Police in Limavady are appealing for information about the theft.

“Between Sunday 6 September and 11 September 2015 an almost life size bronze statue of a deer and calf was stolen from a garden at Dernaflaw Road, Dungiven. An old red Honda and a Red Kawasaki ride on lawn mower were also stolen,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“Police are requesting anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information or sighting of particularly the statue contact Constable Curry in Limavady on the 101 number, or call the Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111 to give information in confidence.”
