A busy week beckons for Queen’s students Catherine Mullan and Adam McClintock, from Limavady.

Not only will the medical students celebrate their graduation today, but they’re also set to tie the knot on Friday, July 8.

Graduating from Queen’s with degrees in Medicine, the pair first met at Limavady Grammar School aged 11.

Their friendship continued throughout school.

Now, 12 years later, they are both preparing to say ‘I do’ ahead of taking up new jobs as Foundation Doctors in the Causeway Hospital and Antrim Hospital in the Northern Trust.

Speaking ahead of their graduation, a delighted Catherine said: “We have both thoroughly enjoyed our time at Queen’s.

“We both undertook the same degree, but the fantastic thing is Queen’s afforded us both so many different opportunities and career options.

“We have been really lucky we had each other to lean on all the way through school and university.

“We can’t wait to get started on the next step of our journey together.

“We are going to Mauritius and Dubai on honeymoon for two weeks, and when we return we will take up our new roles as Foundation Doctors in the Causeway Hospital and Antrim Hospital.”

The happy couple will celebrate graduation with their respective parents.
