The banner had been hanging on railings outside 2nd Limavady Presbyterian Church.

“I know how local people have, and continue to put their heart and soul into the running of the parent and toddler group at 2nd Limavady Church Hall,” said Colr. Robinson.

“It is a community-based group which supports and provides a service to all religions and faiths, and in its 20th year is attracting dozens of local kids from right across the Roe Valley. Every penny is obviously vital to the running of this group.

“This is the third time that a banner erected at this location has been destroyed. When individuals carry out these attacks they therefore attack the entire community.

“On behalf of the Limavady community I suggest that those involved should hang their heads in shame and I demand that they desist from this pointless, childish anti-community activity.

“The kids attending this facility have more sense than the idiots who persist in damaging this vital advertisement.”
