TEN houses, not far from Derry, could be sold for around £200,000 when they go under the hammer at auction next month - and that’s for the lot of them!
The properties are located at Railway Park in St. Johnston in Co. Donegal - just seven miles from Derry.
The semi-detached houses are up for grabs with a sale reserve of between E275,000 and E300,000.
The houses comprise six two storey and four single storey dwellings.
Dublin-based auctioneers, Allsop, said all 10properties are being sold as a “cluster” in one single lot.
The properties are currently subject to tenancies, generating just under E50,000 per year.
Allsop, which aims to sell the houses at auction in Dublin’s R.D.S. on September 10th, sells a broad mix of properties within various sectors including retail, office, industrial, pubs, hotels, farms, development sites, apartments and houses and commercial investment portfolios.
Allsop reveals that the Railway Park houses each have gardens to the rear and parking to the front.
The total floor area of the properties extends to approximately 778 sq. m. (8,400 sq. ft).
The St Johnston properties are just one of a number of “cluster” lots across Ireland to be sold at auction next month.
Industry insiders suggest such sales indicate the slow recovery of house prices - particularly in Co. Donegal - following the dramatic downturn in Irish economic fortunes.
Allsop is also selling another collective lot of eight two-bed apartments in Lifford which is for sale with a reserve of E160,000.
