Man accused of child abduction
A twenty-seven-year-old man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with child abduction.
Samuel Mark Gibson, whose address was given as Bond’s Hill in the city, but who has been in custody in Maghaberry for the past three weeks, is accused of, on November 9, abducting a child without being the parent, guardian or lawful custodian. A police officer connected Gibson to the charge.
Gibson was remanded in custody to appear again via videolink on December 29.
