Police have arrested a man in Derry in connection to a paramilitary style punishment shooting in the city.
A PSNI spokesman says detectives in the city have “arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm with criminal intent.
“The arrest follows a shooting incident in the Creggan Road area on Sunday 20th November when a 22 year old man sustained a number of gunshot wounds to both legs. The man is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries,” the spokesman says.
